How to transfer my domain and hosting with you?

You have two ways to migrate with us:

Option 1: Move hosting only

Your domain stays with your current provider and here you only migrate the site/emails (according to your plan).

Steps

1. Hire your hosting plan.
2. At checkout, select that you will use an existing domain.
3. Upload your files to the new server.
4. Change the domain’s nameservers or DNS records when you’re ready.

Option 2: transfer domain + hosting

In addition to hosting, you also move the domain administration with us.

Prerequisites to transfer domain

• Disable domain privacy (if applicable).
• Disable transfer lock (Registrar Lock).
• Obtain EPP/Auth Code.
• Not having changed registrant data recently (some TLDs apply a 60-day rule).
• The domain must be current and not in a critical expiration period.

Steps

1. Contract the plan and choose the domain transfer option.
2. Capture the EPP code during the process.
3. Complete payment and follow the instructions in the authorization email.
4. Approve the transfer from the registrant’s email.
5. While the transfer is completing, you can migrate files to reduce offline time.

How long does it take?

The domain transfer usually takes 1 to 7 days, depending on the extension and registrar.

Practical recommendation

If you want to minimize downtime, first migrate files and validate on a new server; then perform the DNS change or final transfer.
