Register a new Mexican domain

Aim

Register a Mexican domain (.mx / .com.mx) correctly and get it ready to go.

Steps

1. Check for domain availability on the registration site.
2. Add the domain to the cart and choose registration period.
3. Captures real data of the owner (registrant).
4. Define nameservers:

• If you will use this hosting, configure your provider’s DNS.
• If you will use another service, capture the nameservers they provide.

5. Complete the payment and save proof.

Recommendations

• Use the owner’s active email (important validations come there).
• Check spelling of tax and registrant data to avoid subsequent procedures.

Validation

• The domain appears as active.
• WHOIS (when applicable) reflects correct data.
• DNS resolving to expected destination.
