Steps on Android
Before you start, make sure you have created your email account and password in cPanel.
- Open the Mail app on your Android device and go to Settings → Add account.
- Select IMAP or Personal to add your personalized account.
- Type your email address and tap Next.
- Enter the password and tap Next.
- Select the incoming server type IMAP. We recommend IMAP to synchronize emails across multiple devices. Both protocols are compatible in NubeHost.
- In the incoming server settings, specify the server address and tap Next. If automatic configuration fails, enter the data manually:
- Username: your email address.
- Password: your account password.
- Server: your domain or
mail.tudominio.com. - IMAP Port:
993. - Security type: SSL.
- Delete mail from server: Never.
- Repeat the server setting for outgoing (SMTP) mail.
- If it asks for SMTP details manually, use SSL and port 465, then tap Next.
- If the app asks you, choose the sync frequency. A longer interval reduces battery consumption.
