Category: Mail

To configure the email account in cPanel on your iPhone:

Steps

  1. Download the autoconfiguration file for your email account in cPanel. You can do this by logging into cPanel, navigating to the “Email” section, and then selecting the “Autoconfigure email devices” option.
  2. Once you have downloaded the autoconfiguration file, send the file to your iPhone. You can do this by sending an email with the attached file to yourself or by using a file transfer tool.
  3. On your iPhone, open the email containing the autoconfiguration file and download the attachment.
  4. Touch and hold the downloaded file and select “Open with…” from the pop-up menu.
  5. Select the “Mail” option from the “Open with…” menu and wait for the email application to open.
  6. The email app should automatically detect your email account settings and ask you to confirm the account details. If so, review the information and tap “Save.”
  7. If the email app doesn’t automatically detect your email account settings, you’ll need to manually enter your account information. This includes your name, email address, password, and incoming and outgoing mail server settings. Make sure you enter the information correctly and then tap “Save.”

With these steps, you should be able to connect your iPhone to your email account in cPanel. If you’re having trouble, be sure to check that you’re entering the correct information.
