Add verification TXT record for Google Workspace

Aim

Add a TXT record in DNS to verify your domain with Google Workspace.

Steps

1. Go to cPanel of your domain.
2. Open Domains > Zone Editor.
3. Select the domain and click Manage.
4. Add a record with this data:

• Type: TXT
• Name/Host: @ (or the exact value indicated by Google)
• TTL: 300 or 3600
• TXT value: the verification code delivered by Google

5. Save changes.

Validation

• Wait for DNS propagation (usually minutes, sometimes a few hours).
• In Google Workspace, try verification again.

Note

If a TXT already exists for the same host, do not replace it without review; may affect SPF/other services.
