How to clear your browser cache

Category: SSL

If your site was already updated (or SSL was already installed) and you still see the old version, clear your browser cache.

Chrome / Edge

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Del (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + Delete (Mac).
  2. Under Time range, choose All time.
  3. Select Cached images and files (and cookies if needed).
  4. Click Clear data.

Firefox

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Del.
  2. Choose Everything in the time range.
  3. Select Cache (and cookies if applicable).
  4. Click Clear Now.

Safari (Mac)

  1. Go to Safari > Settings > Advanced and enable Show Develop menu.
  2. In the top menu, open Develop.
  3. Click Empty Caches.

Quick validation

  • Open your site in incognito/private mode.
  • Force refresh with Ctrl + F5.
  • Verify that HTTPS and recent changes now appear.

If it still looks the same

  • Test from another network, such as mobile data.
  • Check whether CDN/Cloudflare cache is active.
  • Wait for DNS propagation if domain or nameserver changes were made.
