Redirection from one domain to another domain

A redirect sends visitors from one domain (or route) to another destination.

Recommended

Use 301 (permanent) redirect when the change will be final.

Steps in cPanel

1. Go to cPanel.
2. Open Domains > Redirects.
3. Choose type Permanent (301).
4. Select source domain.
5. Capture full destination URL.
6. Save with Add.

Good practices

• Avoid redirect chains (A -> B -> C).
• Redirects to the canonical version (https + www or without www, but consistent).
• Test with a private window to validate.
