How do I password protect a web folder?
With your cPanel (control panel) you can protect directories with a password.
To set a password for a folder:
1-. Log in to your control panel (www.midominio.com/cpanel )
2-. Under the “Security” tab, click on “Password Protected Directories”
3-. It will show you a list of all your folders and files on your website.
4-. Select the folder you want to password.
5-. Choose the text you want to display when they enter your directory without a password.
6-. Click “Save”
7-. Choose the users who will have access to said folder in “Add/Modify user authorization”.
8-. You will be able to see the list of active users
