How to clean malware from a website that appears suspicious in the browser

Category: Web hosting

Sometimes when visiting your site from Google Chrome, a red message appears that says:

The site ahead contains malware. Attackers currently on example.com might attempt to install dangerous programs on your computer that steal or delete your information (for example, photos, passwords, messages and credit cards).

This means that your site has malware or your account has been compromised. To correct it you need to know exactly where the malicious files that Google detected are: go to Google Search Console and review the problems it reports.

Complete instructions are at Google’s official help .
