How to create a hosting account in WHM

Steps

  1. Enter WHM.
  2. Go to Account Functions > Create a New Account.
  3. Capture domain, username, password and email.
  4. Select the corresponding package.
  5. Activate recommended email settings (SPF/DKIM if applicable).
  6. Create the account.

After creating it

  • Verify access to cPanel.
  • Confirm that the domain points to the correct nameservers.
  • Check sending/receiving test email.

Validation

  • Account created without errors.
  • cPanel accessible.
  • DNS resolving to the server.

Good practices

Use strong passwords, validate SPF/DKIM, and confirm that the domain points to the server before delivering access to the end client.
